GSG Legal was established in 2014 by Mark Gray-Spencer, the Managing Principal.

Today GSG Legal is a firm with strong international and domestic connections. Our high standard of service is demonstrated by its longstanding relationships with its extensive client base which includes underwriters, insurers, re-insurers, domestic and international carriers, general aviation operators, airports, maintenance and repair organisations and ground handlers.

GSG Legal regularly acts for defendants in litigated disputes and provides advice on a broad range of issues including hull and passenger liability, regulatory matters, personal injury, property damage, personal accident, cargo, war risks, policy coverage and policy wordings.

We are adept at dealing with commercial clients and their brokers and are sensitive to insurers’ commercial needs.

The firm over its history has provided services to a number of Australasia’s largest commercial insurers and to overseas insurance markets (particularly the United Kingdom, the United States and Europe) who write transport risks in Australia.
